Power Hitting and Smart Shot Selection Coaching
Power hitting isn't just about swinging harder. It's about combining brute strength with timing and knowing exactly when to attack.
We build power hitting in stages. This drill starts with a heavy ball to develop strength and control, then progresses to a lighter i20 ball to fine-tune timing and precision. This structured approach shapes match-ready batters.
Can you decide between power and control in a split second? In this drill, a yellow ball means go big, while a purple ball means guide the shot along the ground. This trains shot selection and builds match temperament.
This six-hitting drill uses soft synthetic balls to help players practice big shots without fear of injury. It allows them to swing freely, improve their bat swing mechanics, and build the confidence to clear the boundary.
Hitting straight sixes requires immense power and control. We use the bowling machine to groove the timing, footwork, and bat swing needed to send the ball soaring right back over the bowler's head.
This is a great progression drill for developing power. We start with simple drop balls to focus on timing, then move to underarm feeds to work on generating controlled power and proper shot execution.
Six-hitting drills are a favorite for many batsmen. Here, a player is practicing clearing the ropes, focusing on generating maximum power from a stable base.
Dedication is sticking to your goals even when it's hard. This batsman is working on his power game, putting in the reps to ensure he can hit with 400% confidence when it matters.
About Power Hitting & Smart Shot Selection
We don't just ask you to hit big. In our drills, we use color-coded balls—a yellow ball tells you to clear the ropes, while a purple one forces you to pick the gap and guide the ball along the ground. It’s not about how hard you hit every delivery; it’s about making the right decision in a split second before the ball even reaches your bat.
Power hitting is a technical skill, not just raw power. At our academy, we focus on the biomechanics of your swing—where your head position is, how you shift your body weight, and when you commit to the shot.
We start with heavy balls to build your muscle memory and strength, then transition to i20 balls for pure timing. We use bowling machines to simulate match-speed deliveries, allowing you to groove your bat swing mechanics without constantly resetting.
Cricket is a game of risk management. We teach you to identify the 'hit zone' and differentiate between a ball that demands a boundary and one that requires a single. You'll learn to handle pace, spin, and variation under the kind of match pressure you’ll face in Kanga League or MCA tournaments. If you're coming back from an injury, we monitor your loading patterns to ensure your return to power hitting is sustainable and safe. No guesswork, just solid technique.

I’m Jitesh, and my job is to make sure you don’t just survive at the crease, but dominate. I focus on the small technical tweaks—footwork, head position, and balance—that turn a good hitter into a match-winner. Let’s get to work.
