Don't rush your return to the game. My approach to injury management focuses on fixing the root technical causes so you come back stronger, not just healed.

An injury can be a huge setback, but the comeback is what defines a player. Here, I am working with Gia on her bowling action after a one-and-a-half-month break. We start with the basics, correct the root cause of the injury, and build strength back slowly and safely.

About Injury Comeback & Management

When you're carrying a cricket injury, it’s rarely just about the pain; it’s about the underlying biomechanical flaw that caused it. My approach is simple: we pause, look at the video, and find exactly why your body is stressing out. Whether it’s landing foot alignment or hyperextension, we fix the root cause before you bowl or bat another ball, ensuring you return to the crease stronger, not just healed.

Recovery isn't just time off; it is a technical rebuild. At Centurions Cricket Academy, I treat every injury as a cue to refine your game. If you have been sidelined by a side strain, ankle issue, or shoulder fatigue, we do not just wait for the pain to subside. We work through a systematic return-to-play protocol.

First, we analyze. We use smartphone-based video review during your 60-minute intensive sessions to pinpoint exactly where your movement goes off-track. For bowlers, this often means correcting front-foot alignment or delivery stride stability to eliminate lateral flexion and hyperextension, which are common culprits behind lower back and knee issues. For batsmen, recovery focuses on weight distribution and balance, ensuring you are not compensating for a weakness and setting yourself up for a secondary injury.

Sessions are held at our dedicated facilities in Andheri West at the Chitrakoot Ground and in Kurla. We use controlled environments, including indoor synthetic turf and red soil wickets, to manage the intensity of your comeback. My focus is on load management: we build your strength back slowly, session by session, until your mechanics are sharp enough to handle match-level pressure again. Do not rush the comeback. Koshish karna hai, let's do it right, so you stay on the field longer.

I’m Jitesh Tank. I don't just coach cricket; I watch every delivery like a hawk to catch the small flaws that cause big injuries. My goal is to get you back in the game, playing with better technique than you had before you got hurt.
