About Nature & Wildlife Paintings
I work primarily in watercolors for that delicate, fluid feel and use heavy-body acrylics when you want bold, statement colors. If you have a specific bird, animal, or landscape in mind, just send me the reference photo. I focus on the unique textures and colors that bring these subjects to life on canvas or high-quality paper.
Most of my nature studies are inspired by the calm I find away from the city. When you commission a painting, we will talk about the mood you are after. Is it the softness of a watercolor flower or the deep, rich tones of an acrylic wildlife portrait?
For smaller spaces or as a thoughtful gift, I offer mini canvases (5x7 or 6x8 inches) that come ready for your desk. If you want something that commands attention, my larger acrylic pieces range from 12x16 to 24x30 inches and are stretched on gallery-wrapped canvas. I use artist-grade materials to ensure the colors stay vibrant, and every painting is varnished for protection against dust and light.
The process is straightforward. We start with your idea or photo. I will keep you updated on the progress, whether it is the initial sketch or the final layering phase. Since these are handmade, expect a 7 to 14-day window for completion, especially for larger works.
