Art Festivals and Exhibition Participation
I believe that an artist must stay connected to the community. Here is a look at my work and presence across national art festivals and literature events.
The official poster for my participation in the Timeless Ayodhya Literature & Arts Festival. It was an honor to be invited to such a prestigious event in the holy city of Ayodhya.
At the "Hues of Bengal" exhibition organized by In Art World in Kolkata, alongside fellow national and international artists. These events are a great opportunity for cultural exchange and learning.
Being honored with a traditional scarf at the "In Art World" exhibition in Kolkata. It is always humbling to be welcomed with such warmth and respect by the art community in different cities.
A short video announcing my four day participation in the "Hues of Bengal" workshop and exhibition in Kolkata. I always encourage art lovers to attend these events and support the artists.
A selfie with my friend outside the India Art Fair in Delhi. Attending major art events like this is essential to stay updated with the latest trends and connect with the larger art world.
With fashion designer Ashish Satyavrat Sahu and artist Brindarika at the Triveni Kala Sangam. It was a busy weekend of art, from a book fair to a fashion show to an art fair, connecting with friends old and new.
At the World Book Fair in Pragati Maidan for the book launch of my classmate Rashmi. The world of art and literature are deeply connected, and I make it a point to support my friends in their creative journeys.
About this collection
When I participate in festivals like the India Art Fair or literature meets, my stall is never static. I bring my tablet and sketchbook to do live caricature demonstrations right there, because art is meant to be shared and discussed. You will often find me sketching attendees on the spot, turning a simple exhibition space into an interactive experience.
My journey of over 30 years with major publications like Hindustan Times and Prabhat Khabar has taught me one thing: art is the best way to bridge gaps. At festivals and exhibitions, I am not just a display. I am there to engage. Whether it is the Hues of Bengal exhibition in Kolkata or the Timeless Ayodhya Literature and Arts Festival, my goal is always to demonstrate the process behind the cartoon. I use these platforms to judge competitions, conduct live demos, and discuss the impact of media and AI on our creative industry.
If you are looking for an artist to bring a live, dynamic element to your cultural fest, workshop, or exhibition, I am ready to travel across India. My sessions are designed to be hands on, where attendees can ask questions about the media industry, learn the art of exaggeration, and see a professional cartoonist at work in real time. I do not believe in sugarcoating; I offer honest, direct guidance for students and art enthusiasts alike.
