This is where the magic happens. I am conducting a live digital caricature demonstration for a new batch of students at AAFT, Marwah Studio. You can see me working on a Wacom tablet, with the artwork projected for the entire auditorium to see, giving students a real time view into the process of creating professional digital art.
Beyond digital tools, the foundation of art is on paper. Here, I am doing a live on-the-spot caricature of a student during a workshop. This kind of hands on demonstration is the best way for young artists to learn about capturing expressions and character, which is a key skill in cartooning.
My goal is to share real world knowledge. In this guest lecture at IIIT Delhi, I am interacting with students, sharing stories and lessons from my decades of experience in media and animation. These sessions are not just about theory but about preparing them for a career in art.
It was an honor when Aamir Khan ji himself requested my caricatures for his film festival posters. This is the calendar he personally signed for me, a testament to our collaboration. Working with such a perfectionist and receiving his appreciation is a milestone in my journey.
I am proud of this front page I designed for Hindustan newspaper's Holi special. This page, featuring caricatures of various public figures, was awarded "Best front page design". It shows my ability to create engaging, topical, and award winning content for major publications.
In this video, I share my straight-forward thoughts on the Ghibli art trend and the rise of AI. I believe it is my duty to speak up for the value of human artists and warn the younger generation about the pitfalls of technology. We must use our minds and not let AI replace our skill.
Presenting my work to the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan ji, was a memorable experience. His appreciation for art is well known, and having the opportunity to discuss my caricatures with him is a moment I cherish. These interactions inspire me to keep pushing my creative boundaries.
