When I step out for a sketchwalk or a festival demo, I am not looking for a picture-perfect studio setting. I am looking for the humidity, the chatter of the crowd, and the rhythm of the street. Whether it is handling a sudden rain shower during an outdoor session or capturing the energy of a festival, my goal is to teach you how to embrace the mess and find your flow in the real world.

More Than Just Drawing

I believe art is a language we speak together. My journey into urban sketching started with solitude, but it truly blossomed when I started joining groups. Being part of communities like the Urban Sketchers (USK) has been transformative. It is about more than just the output on paper; it is about the camaraderie that forms when you are sitting on a footpath in Nagpur or a park in Bangalore, sharing brushes and stories.

What You Can Expect

When I host or participate in these events, my focus is on the process. I want to show you that you do not need an art degree to capture a scene. We focus on:

• En Plein Air Techniques: How to set up quickly, pick a vantage point, and adapt to changing light.
• The Power of 'Messing Up': My workshops are judgment-free zones. I encourage participants to embrace the ink splatters and perspective errors because that is where the character of the art comes from.
• Community Connection: These gatherings are about meeting new people, sharing snacks, and finding inspiration in the surroundings, whether it is a heritage site or a local cafe.
