Live Caricature Demonstrations for Events
Watch me bring faces to life on paper and digital tablets. Live sketching is about catching a person's vibe, not just their features, and doing it right in front of you.
Here I am sketching a participant live during the "In Art World" exhibition in Kolkata. These one on one sessions allow people to see the process of capturing a likeness and personality with just a few strokes of the pen.
Holding up a completed caricature artwork at the Kolkata art event. This piece was created live, capturing the energy and spirit of the event and its attendees on a single canvas.
This is a page from a student's sketchbook at my IIIT Delhi workshop. It shows their attempt at drawing me after I drew them. This is the best outcome, when my demonstration inspires students to pick up the pen and try for themselves.
About this collection
When I sit down to draw a live caricature, I am looking for the character behind the face. It is not just about drawing a nose or eyes; it is about catching the specific energy you bring to the table. Whether I am using a digital tablet connected to a screen for a crowd to watch, or traditional paper and pen for a more personal touch, my process is transparent. I talk to you while I draw, making it an interaction rather than a passive performance.
People often ask if digital is better than traditional. Both have their own charm. Digital allows me to project my work on a large screen, which is perfect for corporate events or festivals where a crowd wants to watch the sketching unfold in real time. Traditional sketches on paper, however, give guests a tangible souvenir to take home. I do both.
Based in Delhi-NCR, I travel across India, from Kolkata to Ayodhya, to bring this energy to your events. My setup is simple and I need very little space—just a chair, a table, and good lighting. I have spent 30 years in major media houses, so I know how to handle pressure and crowds. Whether it is a college fest, a corporate launch, or a private family gathering, I bring the same focus and directness to my work. I do not do fluff. You want a live artist who keeps the crowd engaged and gives them something genuine to laugh at? That is exactly what I do. Let's discuss your event requirements and see how we can make it happen.

Main cartoonist hoon aur mere liye kala hi sab kuch hai. I do not just sketch for the sake of it; I observe, I analyze, and then I put pen to paper to show you a mirror. My art is honest, direct, and meant to make you smile.
