My art has taken me to places I only dreamed of. This is a collection of my interactions with the artists, leaders, and thinkers I have had the honor of sketching and meeting over the years.

A short video showcasing some of the many caricatures I have created of the legendary Amitabh Bachchan over the years. This collection was part of a special calendar celebrating his iconic film roles.

A throwback to my early days, getting my work autographed by the one and only Shatrughan Sinha ji. Meeting such icons has been a part of my journey from the very beginning.

In conversation with the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Shri Hemant Soren ji, at his residence. We discussed art, our childhoods, and I presented him with a custom calendar featuring his caricatures, a promise I had made during a previous meeting.

At the airport with the renowned poet and writer Prasoon Joshi ji after the Timeless Ayodhya festival. We had a wonderful conversation about creativity and his role at the censor board. It is always a pleasure to interact with such creative minds.

Presenting my Raj Kapoor tribute calendar to Prasoon Joshi ji at the Timeless Ayodhya festival. Sharing my art with fellow artists and writers whom I admire is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

About this collection

There is a specific joy in presenting a caricature to someone you have admired from a distance for years. It is not just about the lines and shading, but about capturing that one familiar expression that makes them who they are, and seeing that spark of recognition when they finally see themselves on paper. Whether I am at a literature festival or sitting in a CM's residence, the goal remains the same: to find the human behind the public image.

For me, working with celebrities and political leaders is not about the glamour. It is a study in character. When I sketch figures like Prasoon Joshi or discuss art with leaders like Hemant Soren, I am looking for the personality that hides behind the headlines.

The Art of Capture

Caricature is often misunderstood as just exaggeration, but it is actually a form of deep observation. When I draw someone, I look for the eyes, the smile, and the posture.

  • Live Interaction: Meeting subjects like Malini Awasthi at the Timeless Ayodhya festival allows me to observe their real-time reactions and nuances, which adds life to the final sketch.
  • The Process: Whether it is a digital file or a hand-drawn piece, I try to bring out the 'aaina' (mirror) effect, where the drawing reflects not just how they look, but how they carry themselves.
  • Beyond the Surface: My work with figures like Amitabh Bachchan or Shatrughan Sinha has spanned years. These are not just fan moments, but a history of my own evolution as an artist.

I treat every subject with the same level of focus, regardless of their public status. If you are looking for an artist who understands how to capture the essence of a person for your event or a personal tribute, that is exactly what I offer. I bring the same rigor to every project, ensuring that the final output is a genuine representation of the individual.

I am a cartoonist who believes that art is the best way to show a mirror to society. Whether it is a Bollywood legend or a political leader, I look for the spark in their eyes to capture their true self in my work. My art is my way of connecting with people and bringing a smile to their face.
