About Meet Our Horses

The most common mistake beginners make is thinking every horse is the same. At CanterWoods, we don't just assign you a horse based on availability. Whether you need Zorawar’s calm poise for your first time in the saddle or Akira’s energetic spirit to push your jumping skills, we match the horse to your temperament and goal. It’s about building a partnership, not just getting in some saddle time.

More Than Just a Ride

Many riders come here for the sport, but they stay for the connection. Our 4.5-acre facility in Gwal Pahari isn't just about training; it's a space where we treat our horses like family. You will see Black Coffee standing proud against the skyline, or Klockner enjoying his sunset feed. Each of these animals has a distinct personality, and we spend significant time ensuring they are well-rested, groomed, and happy.

Finding Your Partner

We rotate our horses to ensure they stay fresh and engaged, but also to give you the chance to find the one you truly 'click' with.

  • For Beginners: We start you with our calmest, most patient horses who are used to beginners and provide a steady, reassuring ride.
  • For Aspiring Jumpers: You will work with horses like Akira who have that extra spark and agility required for grid work and course navigation.
  • For Trail Riders: We use desensitized, steady horses that are unfazed by the sounds and sights of the Aravali scrublands.

Quality Care, Better Riding

Because we are a boutique facility near Golf Course Road, we know every horse by name and habit. We do not run a generic riding factory. When you book a session with us, you are stepping into a environment where the animals are treated with respect, and in return, they offer a level of trust that makes your learning journey much faster. If you want to understand the difference a happy horse makes, come by for a trial session and meet the herd yourself.
