Welcome to Canterwoods Stables. This aerial view shows our expansive 4.5-acre facility, including the main stables and one of our large arenas, all designed to provide the best for our horses and riders.
I offer guided horseback safaris through the beautiful Aravalli trails. It's an unforgettable adventure that takes you out of the city and into nature, perfect for riders of all levels.
Dressage is like a dance, and our dedicated arena is the perfect stage. Here you can see a rider practicing precise movements against the unique backdrop of the Gurgaon skyline.
The ride doesn't have to end when the sun goes down. Our floodlit arenas make for magical evening sessions, where riders can train in the cool, calm atmosphere of the night.

About Featured
Most people think horse riding is just sitting in a saddle, but here, it starts with understanding the animal. Before you trot or canter, we spend time on ground work, grooming, and mounting, so you are actually connecting with the horse, not just riding it. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to perfect your show jumping, our NCC coaches ensure you build confidence through technique rather than force.
Our facility in Gwal Pahari is built to offer a genuine break from the daily grind. We have moved beyond the traditional riding school model to create a space where riders, horses like Zorawar and Akira, and even our resident dogs and ducks share the environment.
What we offer at CanterWoods
- For Beginners: Start with our introductory sessions. We prioritize safety and the basics of horse psychology, using desensitized horses so you feel comfortable from day one.
- Trail Rides: Explore the rugged beauty of the Aravali scrublands. Our guided 60-minute safari takes you through forest trails, giving you a proper escape without leaving Gurgaon.
- Advanced Training: If you are serious about the sport, our NCC coaches lead competitive training in Show Jumping and Dressage. We use the full 4.5-acre space, including our floodlit arenas, which stay open until 9 PM for those who can only make it in the evening.
- Kids and Families: We see riders as young as 6 start their journey here. It is about more than just skills; it is about building focus, balance, and responsibility in a setting that feels safe and fun.
We provide all the necessary safety gear, including helmets and protective vests. Whether you are coming for a weekend joyride or looking for a monthly membership to progress your skills, our team is here to help you get started. Come by, grab a seat at our cafe, and see the facility for yourself.
