Custom Theme and Rotating Cakes in Borivali
From spinning mechanical cakes to traditional Kelvan designs, I turn your favorite stories into delicious realities right here in Borivali.
This two-tier teddy bear cake is one of my favorite creations, especially because it actually rotates! It’s perfect for a 'Wild One' first birthday party, combining fondant teddy bears, edible prints, and a special mechanism to add that extra bit of magic.
I love creating cakes that celebrate our beautiful Maharashtrian traditions. This one was for a 'Kelvan' ceremony, a special pre-wedding ritual. It features custom caricatures of the couple and traditional motifs like banana leaves and marigold flowers.
Bringing the excitement of the race track to a first birthday party with this rotating car-themed cake. It features characters from the movie 'Cars', traffic signals, and a real spinning tier that makes it a showstopper for any little car enthusiast.
For a beautiful engagement, I designed this elegant three-tier cake. It features a soft blue and white palette, delicate white flowers, and touches of gold leaf for a sophisticated look that celebrates a new beginning.
Nothing says Mumbai like Vada Pav! This was such a fun and hatke cake to make, complete with edible vada, pav, and even the spicy red chutney and green chillies. It’s a perfect example of how your favorite food can become a memorable birthday cake.
Here’s a little peek into how I bring a superhero to life. This video shows me carefully piping the web for a Spider-Man cake. It’s this detailed work and mehnat that goes into every single cake I make.
It was an honor to create this two-tier cinema-themed cake for TV actress Priti Gandwani. I used edible photo prints to create a film reel of her work, complete with a clapperboard, camera, and cinema tickets to celebrate her story.
About this collection
When I build a rotating cake, I handle the mechanical setup myself to make sure it spins smoothly without risking the stability of the sponge. Whether you want a teddy bear or a race car on a pedestal, these need careful engineering, so please reach out at least 48 hours in advance so I can prepare the structure perfectly.
Every cake I bake in my Borivali kitchen has a story, and my job is to make sure yours tastes as good as it looks. I do not just bake; I construct. You might have seen my rotating car cakes or that anti-gravity Rajnigandha creation—those require structural planning, internal doweling, and custom mechanisms that I put together personally.
My style is whatever you need it to be. If it is a traditional Maharashtrian Kelvan ceremony, I focus on the cultural details like banana leaves and marigold motifs. If it is a birthday, I dive into the fun stuff—superheroes, cinema themes, or even Mumbai street food like Vada Pav cakes.
I work out of Chikuwadi and deliver within a 3km radius, covering Borivali East, Borivali West, and parts of Kandivali. My process is simple: you tell me the vision, and I figure out the piping, fondant, or edible prints to match. I am fully eggless-friendly, so you do not have to worry about the base. If you have a wild idea, do not be shy—I love a challenge.
Cake Story
Hi, I am Manali. I am happiest when I am elbow-deep in flour and creating something totally hatke. My kitchen in Borivali is where I turn your memories—whether it is a traditional Kelvan or a funny Rajnigandha cake—into something sweet.
