Featured Showstopper Cakes
Cakes that spin, glow, and defy gravity. These are my favorite creations where engineering meets edible art.
This is what I call a showstopper. I created this two-tier space adventure cake with a special, food-safe pyrotechnic effect to make the rocket actually look like it's launching. It's the perfect "wow" moment for a child's birthday party.
How is that possible? That's the reaction I love. This anti-gravity cake features Minnie Mouse effortlessly holding up a princess castle, a design that plays with physics to create a truly magical centerpiece.
This cake was a dream to create. It's a multi-tier fairy tower with delicate, glowing wings that light up, bringing the entire enchanted scene to life. I also included a figurine of the birthday girl nestled inside her own magical alcove.
Welcome to the circus. This topsy-turvy carnival cake is a playful illusion, with each tier tilted at an angle that seems to defy gravity. It features a working carousel on top and is covered in handmade circus characters.
It all started with a child's wish for a "realistic betta fish cake that spins". I took that sweet request and turned it into this two-tier ocean-themed cake, complete with a spinning, light-up fishbowl and a hand-sculpted betta fish.
For the little princess in your life, this rotating cake ensures every guest gets to see all the beautiful details. It features a custom figurine of the birthday girl surrounded by her favorite Disney princesses and a golden castle topper.
I am so proud to be an award-winning cake artist. This is my certificate for winning second place at the prestigious Cakeology 2024 competition, a testament to the passion and precision I pour into every creation.
About Featured
These aren't standard birthday cakes. Because I integrate motors, lighting, and internal armatures, these designs function more like interactive installations. If you want a cake that spins, glows, or defies gravity, I recommend reaching out well in advance so I can plan the structural engineering behind the finish.
When you choose a showstopper cake, you are asking for more than just a dessert. You are asking for a conversation piece. My work in this category is split into three main technical approaches.
First, there are my Illuminated and Pyrotechnic designs. These use food-grade LED strips or safe cold-sparkler casings to add movement through light or flame. These are perfect for those moments when the room lights go down and you want the cake to command attention.
Second, the Motorized Rotating cakes. These use battery-operated acrylic separators that turn at a gentle 2-3 RPM, allowing your guests to view a continuous 360-degree story without needing to rotate the cake manually. This is ideal for detailed character scenes.
Finally, the Kinetic and Anti-Gravity cakes. These are my most complex builds, using internal PVC or metal armatures to create the illusion that a cake is floating, tipping over, or supporting weight in ways physics shouldn't allow. Because these use heavy-duty doweling and support systems, they require a specific consultation to ensure they survive the trip from my bakery in Electronic City to your venue anywhere in Bangalore.
Everything I make is 100% eggless, so the internal structure is always built around stable, high-density sponges that can hold the weight of these mechanics. Whether it is a launch-ready rocket or a floating castle, we will work together on the structural design during our consultation phase.

I'm Roma. I love solving the puzzle of how to make a cake spin, light up, or even look like it is floating. My kitchen in Electronic City is where the magic happens, and nothing beats the look on a client's face when they see their dream come to life.
