Beginner Mehendi Fundamentals: Learn Henna Art
Start your henna journey with practical, hands-on classes. From holding the cone to mastering your first floral patterns, I teach you the real hacks for a beautiful, deep, and dark stain.
Even simple designs can be beautiful. This is the kind of elegant, clean pattern you'll learn to create in my beginner mehendi class. We start with the basics, so you can build confidence and find your own flow.
This is a sweet and simple floral piece I created for one of my students. It demonstrates the foundational shapes and patterns, like peacocks and paisleys, that we practice in the beginner's course.
Sometimes I create a design just for myself, to reconnect with the joy of it. This video also shows why aftercare is so important, a topic I cover in detail in all my classes to ensure you get the best possible stain from your henna.
About Beginner Mehendi Fundamentals
Teaching is not just about showing you how to draw. It is about helping you find your flow. My classes focus on the mechanics of the cone, like grip, pressure, and hand control, because those are the hurdles every beginner faces first. Whether you are joining online or in my Kharghar studio, you will walk away with the confidence to start your own designs, instead of just copying patterns.
When I first started learning henna, I felt frustrated by the lack of clear, practical advice. That is why I designed my Beginner Mehendi Fundamentals course to be different. We skip the fluff and get straight into the essential techniques that make a difference in your final output.
In our sessions, we cover the real foundations. We look at proper cone grip to prevent hand cramping during long sessions and pressure management to create those crisp, thin lines. We also dive into mixology. You will learn the exact powder to oil ratios for creating natural, dark-staining paste.
If you are joining me in Kharghar or Chennai for an in-person workshop, we also focus on the physical side of henna art. We practice on templates to build your muscle memory before moving to skin. I provide all the supplies, including fresh organic cones and reusable sheets, so you can focus entirely on the learning process.
After the class, I do not just say goodbye. I include aftercare instructions because getting a beautiful stain is just as important as the design itself. If you are an online student, you get a digital workbook and a shopping list, plus a week of practice review via direct message. Whether you are doing this as a hobby or looking to build a career, I am here to help you get started with the right habits.
