A baby shower is a celebration that calls for detail, but it shouldn't come at the cost of the actual dessert. Whether you are planning a small gathering or a larger event in Bangalore, my approach remains the same: flavour comes first, design second.

Customization and Themes

I work with you to match the cupcakes to your event’s colour palette or theme. I handle classic pink and blue combinations, but I also enjoy doing modern, neutral tones. If you have a specific request, such as the baby's name or a particular character, I can incorporate that using hand-sculpted fondant art or custom-printed edible toppers. Common requests include:

• Miniature Figurines: Hand-sculpted prams, teddy bears, or baby clothes.
• Lettering: Embossed names or 'Baby on the way' scripts.
• Textural Details: Buttercream grass or floral piping for an enchanted garden vibe.

My Process

Every order is baked fresh in my Hebbal studio. I use a layer of buttercream as the foundation for all fondant work, which acts as a barrier to keep the sponge soft. Fondant is essentially sugar paste, so while it is perfect for 3D shapes like shoes or animal faces, I keep the layer thin to ensure the sugar-to-sponge ratio is balanced.

Logistics and Care

Transporting delicate cupcake art in Bangalore's traffic requires care. I package all orders in secure, slot-fitted bakery boxes to prevent the designs from shifting. If you are picking up from my studio, I recommend keeping the boxes on a flat surface in your car, preferably in the footwell, to keep them cool and stable. I do not use artificial preservatives, so I recommend enjoying these cupcakes within 24 hours of delivery for the best texture.
