Getting started at our academy is straightforward. We invite new students to join a trial session to assess their current skill level and fit within our group batches. Whether you are looking for fitness or competitive training, this first session helps us place you with the right peers, from beginners learning their first stance to those preparing for grading exams.
Our Approach to Taekwondo
At Butterfly Talent Academy, we see Taekwondo as a path to build discipline, physical strength, and self-confidence. Our training program is led by Master Pradeep Janardhana, a 7th-degree Black Belt with over 30 years of experience. We move beyond just flashy moves; our curriculum focuses on getting the basics right, ensuring every student understands the 'how' and 'why' behind each kick, punch, and stance.
Training Levels
We offer two distinct paths to ensure you get the coaching you need:
- Standard Training: Ideal for beginners or those training for fitness. We focus on ITF-style patterns (Tuls), fundamental stances, and conditioning. This is a great way to build a strong foundation in a group setting of 15-25 students.
- Advanced Competitive Coaching (Team BTA): For students who are Green Belt or above, we provide intensive sparring, reflex training, and tournament preparation. This track involves direct oversight from our senior masters and prepares students for district, state, and national championships.
Global Certification & Growth
We are an International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) affiliated center. When you train with us, your progress is tracked through a globally recognized belt system. Earning these credentials provides tangible proof of your mastery, which is beneficial for future academic and career opportunities.
