About Mind & Body: Taekwondo & Katha Yoga
Our Taekwondo training follows the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF) guidelines, emphasizing technical accuracy, balance, and self-defense over aggressive sparring. For our Katha Yoga sessions, we move away from static drills and instead use narrative storytelling to help children hold poses like the Cobra or Tree naturally, making mindfulness feel like an engaging game.
Building Strength and Focus
We believe fitness should be both challenging and accessible. In our Banaswadi studio, we provide a safe, dedicated space with wooden flooring where children can explore their physical limits.
Taekwondo for Discipline Our martial arts program is not just about learning how to kick. We focus on the ITF curriculum, which teaches patience, respect, and self-defense. We guide students from their first stance to complex patterns, helping them build muscle memory through repetition and precision. Whether your child is looking to gain confidence or channel excess energy, this program provides a structured environment to do so.
Katha Yoga for Mindfulness Yoga can be intimidating for young children if it is too rigid. Our 'Katha Yoga' (Story Yoga) approach bridges this gap. By weaving stories into every session, we help children relate to the poses. The 'Tree' pose becomes a forest adventure, and the 'Cobra' pose becomes a tale of nature. This method ensures that while they improve their flexibility and core strength, they are also developing better concentration and breath control without feeling pressured.
Both programs are conducted in small batches to ensure our instructors can correct form and offer personal attention to every participant.
