It takes just a little patience and a few simple poses to get that curve just right.
Two Ways to Silhouette
When we do a silhouette session, we usually play with two distinct aesthetics.
The High-Key Look: This uses a bright white background to create a crisp, clean outline of your bump. It feels very modern, minimal, and timeless. It’s perfect if you want something that focuses entirely on your silhouette without any distractions.
The Moon Backdrop: This is my personal favourite. It creates a soft, moody, and dramatic atmosphere that makes the image feel like a painting. The glow of the moon adds a touch of magic that makes the portrait feel intimate and unique.
Why it Works
Silhouette photography is often about what you don't see. By playing with light and shadows, we create an image that feels both elegant and mysterious. It isn't about capturing every detail of your outfit, but about celebrating the shape and the feeling of this special phase of your life.
Planning Your Shoot
All these sessions take place in my cozy studio in Akshayanagar. For the best results, try to wear something that hugs your figure, like a fitted bodycon dress or a simple gown, as this helps define your beautiful shape. Don't worry if you haven't posed for a silhouette before, as I will guide you through every position to make sure we find the angle that truly celebrates your journey. Whether you are coming alone or with your partner, we will keep the session relaxed and fun.
