These aren't accidental shadows. In my Sahakarnagar studio, I meticulously control the lighting—using moons, windows, and custom backdrops—to define your silhouette and highlight your bump. If you have a specific pose or connection you want to emphasize, I take the time to get the light just right, ensuring the mood of the portrait is exactly what you envisioned.
When I capture silhouettes, I am not just looking for a shape. I am looking for the emotion behind the form. This style of photography works beautifully because it strips away the distraction of color and background, forcing the viewer to focus entirely on the connection between you, your partner, and your changing body. Whether you are aiming for a classic moon backdrop, a dramatic window silhouette, or a modern double-exposure edit, the key is the timing. I typically recommend scheduling your session between 28 and 33 weeks. At this stage, your bump is prominent and well-defined, and you will still feel comfortable enough to hold the poses required for these artistic shots.
My studio process is entirely bespoke. When you walk into my Sahakarnagar space, we start by discussing your vision. Do you want something bold and high-contrast, or soft and intimate? I provide the gowns and props, and I adjust the studio lighting to suit the specific silhouette you want. If you are nervous about posing, do not worry. I guide every movement to ensure your silhouette looks elegant and natural, not stiff.
Because these sessions are highly technical—requiring precise lighting adjustments—I limit the number of shoots I take per month. This allows me to give every image the creative attention it needs during the editing phase.
