You do not need to hunt for outfits or worry about sizing. My studio has a dedicated rack of maternity gowns, including flying fabrics, velvet bodycons, and ruffled styles, that are ready for your session. When we pick your gown, we look at how the fabric moves and matches your body shape, ensuring you feel confident and comfortable before I even pick up the camera.

Choosing a maternity gown is about more than just picking a color you like. It is about how the fabric interacts with studio lighting and posing. In my Akshayanagar studio, I guide you through selecting the right silhouette based on the vibe you want to achieve.

If you love movement, we often go with my flying fabric gowns. These require a bit of tossing and handling, where I or my assistant help you get that perfect, dramatic spread. For a more sophisticated, intimate look, I lean towards our velvet bodycon collection. These dresses cling in all the right places, highlighting your bump beautifully without needing heavy styling.

We also consider the lighting. High-contrast, moody portraits work exceptionally well with darker, deep-toned gowns like navy blue, burgundy, or emerald green. If you prefer a lighter, angelic aesthetic, we might pair softer, ruffled fabrics with brighter studio lighting.

What to expect during your shoot:

• Preparation: You arrive camera-ready for your hair and makeup. We then move to gown selection and fitting.
• The Process: Whether we are doing a standard solo session or a premium half-day package, the gown draping is a major part of the posing. I will guide you on how to hold your hands and position your body to accentuate your curves.
• The Result: You receive 10 to 30 high-end retouched images depending on your chosen package, with skin smoothing and color correction that keeps your features natural yet polished.

Do not worry about the model look. I direct every pose, from how you sit to how you stand, so you feel natural throughout the session.
