People often worry about the durability of painting on high-end leather, but I use a rigorous multi-step process to protect your item. I carefully strip the factory finish, apply professional-grade flexible Angelus paints, and seal everything with a scratch-resistant coating so your design stays crisp and vibrant even with daily use.
How I Transform Your Pieces
Painting on luxury surfaces like coated canvas or genuine leather requires a steady hand and a lot of patience. My goal is to make the artwork feel like it belongs on the piece, not just something stuck on top.
The Process:
- Preparation: I start by removing the factory wax and finish using specialized chemical deglazers. This is crucial for paint adhesion on materials like Louis Vuitton canvas or smooth leather.
- Artistry: I use premium Angelus paints mixed with fabric mediums to keep the paint flexible. This prevents cracking, especially on high-wear areas like bag flaps or wallet folds.
- Protection: Each piece gets a multi-layer application of matte, satin, or high-gloss sealer to guard against water, sweat, and friction.
Common Customizations:
- Pet Portraits: Your dog’s portrait on a card holder is one of my absolute favorite things to paint. It makes such a beautiful, personal statement.
- Brand Personalization: Whether you want to add initials, a quote, or a full-scale floral design on your Goyard or Gucci bags, we start with a digital mockup to ensure the placement is perfect before I ever touch a brush.
