Fun Art Workshops for Kids in Powai, Mumbai
Spark your child's imagination with playful, hands-on art sessions. From festive clay crafts to vibrant painting, we create, laugh, and celebrate together in my cozy Powai studio. 😊
Welcome to our Ganpati making workshop for kids. Using mould it clay and bright paints, these young artists created their very own Ganpati Bappa on canvas. It was a joy to see them celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with so much creativity and devotion.
For our Navratri workshop, the kids had a wonderful time painting these colorful wooden wall hangings. They learned to mix acrylic paints and create their own unique designs, making a beautiful piece of festive decor to take home.
A young artist completely focused on her creation during our Diwali Lippan Art workshop. She is carefully painting a traditional design on a tea light holder, learning about patterns and colors while making a beautiful craft for the festival of lights.
Here are two of my students busy painting their Lippan Art tea light holders for Diwali. It is so rewarding to see them engaged in a traditional art form, using their hands and imagination to create something special.
Two proud artists showing off their finished Lippan Art tea light holders from our Diwali workshop. They did such a fantastic job with the bright colors and patterns. I love seeing the pride they take in their work.
This happy student is holding up her two beautifully painted tea light holders. Her smile shows the fun and sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something with your own hands during our festive workshops.
"It took me a lifetime to paint like a child." Picasso's words always remind me of the pure, uninhibited creativity of children. This collage captures some of my youngest students lost in the world of art, and it is a beautiful sight.
About this collection
My studio in Powai is designed for individual attention, with small, intimate batch sizes of just 4 to 6 children. This ensures every child gets the support they need, whether they are molding clay for Ganesh Chaturthi or experimenting with acrylics for the first time.
Art isn't about creating a perfect masterpiece; it’s about the joy of making, the mess, and the surprising discoveries along the way. In my Powai studio, we focus on that process, making sure your child feels free to express themselves without the pressure of perfection.
What We Explore
We keep things exciting by tying our projects to what's happening around us.
- Festive Crafting: We celebrate festivals like Diwali, Navratri, and Ganesh Chaturthi with thematic workshops. Whether it's Lippan Art for tea light holders or using clay to craft a Ganpati Bappa, we combine tradition with creativity.
- Mixed Media: Beyond just painting, kids get to touch, feel, and shape art using oil pastels, clay, and varied craft materials.
- Creative Freedom: Each session is tailored to allow children to build their own stories through their work. I provide the techniques and the guidance, but the imagination—whether it's unicorns, Earth-saving heroes, or abstract designs—is all theirs.
Why Join My Sessions?
My goal is to give children a space where they can unwind. Many of my students come in to de-stress after school. My studio is air-conditioned and stocked with kid-friendly materials, and I keep the environment relaxed and encouraging. If you are looking for a weekend activity or a regular creative outlet for your child, these sessions offer a supportive community where every 'mistake' is just a stepping stone to a new idea. No prior experience is needed—just bring an open mind and a readiness to get a little paint on your hands. ❤️
