About Creative & Skill-Building Workshops
Unlike regular classrooms, we host these sessions right in our 20,000 sqft urban living lab. You are learning surrounded by edible gardens and scrap art, which means the atmosphere is as much a part of the experience as the technique you are picking up.
We do not believe in stuffy, sterile environments for learning. At the Circus, we turn skill-building into an extension of our mission to live more sustainably and creatively.
What to expect
Most of our workshops are kept small so you get plenty of hands-on time. You might find yourself learning filmmaking techniques from industry professionals, exploring the science of fluid art, or getting your hands dirty in a sustainable farming session. Because our space is an urban living lab, the lessons often spill over into the garden, the canteen, or the makerspace.
Who hosts these sessions
We bring in artists, makers, filmmakers, and sustainability experts who are as passionate about sharing their craft as they are about the planet. Whether you are a total beginner or looking to sharpen a skill, you will find a collaborative, non-judgmental environment here.
Practical details
- Location: We are based in Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore, near Orion Mall.
- Facilities: We provide the tools and materials you need. If the workshop is outdoors or in our non-AC hangars, we make sure you are comfortable, but do come prepared for a bit of a rustic, industrial vibe.
- Food: Many of our day-long workshops include access to fresh, farm-to-table food from our in-house canteen.
Creative Circus
We are Bangalore Creative Circus, a bunch of artists and dreamers who turned an old steel factory into an urban living lab. We do not do stuffy classrooms. Our workshops are messy, hands-on, and real.
