Turning barren concrete roofs into private, lush escapes that breathe with the city. We blend structural solutions like smart drainage with layered planting to create a terrace that feels like a natural extension of your home.

At the 'House of Terraces,' I used Corten steel planters to create a warm, tactile boundary between the deck and the greenery. A pebble-filled drainage channel is both a functional solution and a beautiful design detail.

This terrace includes multiple zones for relaxation, including a swing and comfortable seating. The vertical green mesh provides privacy from neighboring buildings while allowing light and air to filter through.

Layered planting in the 'House of Terraces' creates a dense, jungle-like feel in the heart of the city. The vertical green wall and tall plants provide privacy and a rich, biophilic experience.

A long view of the Corten steel planters, which will develop a beautiful patina over time. The vertical green wall behind is designed for climbing plants to eventually take over, creating a living privacy screen.

I carefully select pots and planters to complement the overall design. Here, a cluster of modern, rounded pots in muted tones holds a variety of plants, adding texture and form to the terrace garden.

This 3D concept shows a captivating gathering space on a terrace. A circular concrete bench envelops a central fire pit, all under a trellis designed for bougainvillea to create a flowering canopy.

A concept for a contemporary rooftop terrace, designed for enjoying breezy evenings. The space includes a shallow water feature, a fire pit, comfortable seating, and even a telescope for stargazing, making it a multi-functional urban retreat.

This video shows the transformation of a terrace, from the initial flooring plan to the final result. A large, vibrant floral mural by Microcosm by Shruti becomes a dramatic backdrop for the seating area and planters.

The entry sequence for the 'House of Terraces' begins at ground level. A sculpted screen provides privacy for the foyer, while layered planters and steps guide the visitor upwards towards the main terrace spaces.

A quiet path in the 'House of Terraces' garden, where a single shrub emerges from the stone paving. The dappled light from the tree canopy above creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

About Urban Terrace & Rooftop Oases

Creating a rooftop garden is more than just placing pots; it is a technical exercise in structural weight and water management. We use a multi-layer system involving high-density drainage cells, geotextile membranes, and specialized lightweight soil media to protect your slab while ensuring plants thrive. You get the aesthetic of a lush, private garden without the risk of seepage or damp walls.
