Why Go Custom?
In Mumbai, standard sizes rarely fit our unique floor plans. I see so many homes where the furniture is bought off a catalog but sits awkwardly. When I design for your home, I look at the flow of the room first. If you have a small balcony, I will design a foldable seating setup. If you have a high ceiling, we build vertical storage that draws the eye up, like the floor-to-ceiling library units I love creating.
My Material Palette
I am obsessed with the tactile experience of home design. We use high-quality veneers, rattan cane, and textured fluted panels to add character. If you look at my sculptural dining tables, you will see how I mix acacia wood with stone to create something that feels like art, not just a place to eat. For storage, I use marine-grade plywood and premium Hettich or Blum hardware because luxury without durability is not real luxury.
The Process: From Sketch to Installation
Everything starts with your story. We sit down, discuss your daily routine, and we sketch. My 'karigars' are the backbone of this studio. They take these drawings and turn them into reality, whether it is a floral-inspired rattan armchair or a storage unit that slides to reveal a hidden room. I am there on-site for the installation because the final finish is where the magic happens.
