Custom Portrait Wall Art & Character Murals
Whether it is a tribute to your hero or a lifelike portrait of a loved one, I bring personality to every wall with a focus on real, hand-painted details.
As a huge fan, I painted this tribute to the cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This portrait captures his iconic look on the field, complete with the Indian cricket team helmet and logo.
This video shows the work-in-progress of a BTS mural for a Korean cafe in Delhi. I used an airbrush to create the soft skin tones and capture the happy expressions of the band members.
This mural is a portrait of a woman in a classic, vintage style. I used a combination of brushwork and spray paint to create the soft, smoky background and the detailed features of her face and clothing.
A closer look at the creation of the classical woman portrait. This video shows the careful brushstrokes used to define the eyes and lips, bringing the character to life with each detail.
Here I am with the finished classical portrait. The artwork is designed to look like a painting from another era, adding a touch of timeless elegance and sophistication to the wall.
This graffiti portrait in Gujarat has a unique, modern style. The woman's hair is made of green leaves, and abstract shapes float around her, creating a surreal and artistic piece.
This video shows my process for creating a portrait using only black and white spray paint. You can see how I use the airbrush to create realistic shading and fine details, like the light in the eye.
About Portraits & Character Art
I always use the grid-method for realistic portraits to get the eyes and facial proportions 100% right. Before I pick up a brush, we sketch it out together so you know exactly what the final piece will look like, whether it is a detailed, monochromatic charcoal-style portrait or a vibrant, colorful character mural.
Bringing Personalities to Life
Painting a person or a character on a wall requires more than just paint—it requires capturing their expression and energy. From cricket legends like MS Dhoni to global icons like BTS, I have spent years mastering the nuances of shading and brushwork that make a portrait feel real. My process relies on patience and precision, ensuring that the gaze, the smile, and the texture of the skin look natural from every angle in your room.
My Process and Techniques
For portraits and character art, I switch between different tools depending on the finish you want:
- The Grid Method: This is my foundation for realism. I sketch the subject carefully to map out the proportions before applying any color.
- Airbrushing: For smooth gradients, soft skin tones, and background smoke effects, I use an airbrush. It creates a seamless, professional look that looks like a photo.
- Fine Brushwork: For the critical details like eyes, hair strands, and lips, I use size 0/00 brushes to bring the character to life.
Materials & Longevity
I treat every portrait as a piece of art, not just a wall decoration. I use artist-grade heavy-body acrylics for depth and apply a double coat of UV-resistant varnish. This protects the colors from fading and yellowing over time, ensuring your wall art stays as fresh as the day it was painted. If you are looking for a portrait in your living room, bedroom, or a commercial space in Delhi NCR, I work with you to understand the vibe you want—whether it is a classic vintage look or a bold, modern pop-culture style.
Best Artist
I am a Deshi Kalakar, and for me, painting a portrait is like telling a story on your wall. I pour my heart into every brushstroke because I know how much that person or character means to you. Art ka safar rukta nahi (the art journey never stops), and I love bringing your inspirations to life.
