Climbing is better when we do it together. From kids' workshops to local jams, we are growing the sport one hold at a time.

This was our call for volunteers to help with a climbing workshop for kids aged 8 to 12. It's a privilege to introduce the sport to the next generation and build our community from the ground up.

About Building Our Climbing Community

Volunteering at our kids' climbing workshops is about more than just spotter duty. You get to introduce the sport to children aged 8 to 12 and help them find their footing, literally. We keep these sessions small, so every volunteer gets to play a real role in building confidence for the next generation of climbers right here in Malleshwaram.

I am Mani. Climbing has given me medals, but my real focus now is the people we climb with. We are creating a space in Malleshwaram where beginners and pros support each other, and kids get to find their love for the sport.

To celebrate Women's Day, we ran a special offer to encourage more ladies to join the fun. Bring a friend to introduce them to climbing and one of you gets to climb for free!
We made our Women's Day celebration a weekend event so everyone could join. A day pass was just Rs. 250 to make it easy for more women to come climb with us.

We believe climbing is for everyone. A huge part of our mission is making the sport accessible, which is why we love hosting sessions for local kids, like these ones in Hanumanhalli, and sharing our resources.

We are deeply committed to sustainable practices, both in our space and in nature. During our camps and treks, we guide participants to leave no trace, fostering a respect for the environment that is a core part of the Svadhyaya journey.

Every workshop starts with a briefing from our experienced instructors. Here, a group of new climbers learns about the day's goals and basic safety before hitting the walls.9
Getting the right gear is your first step. An instructor explains the importance of proper climbing shoes, which are crucial for grip and effective footwork on the bouldering wall.
A participant in our workshop applies what she's learned, reaching for a hold on our colorful climbing wall. We focus on building confidence one move at a time.
