About Baking Workshops for Little Chefs
In my studio, every child bakes and frosts their own creation from start to finish, so they don’t just watch—they actually do it. Whether it is a 4-inch bento cake or a gingerbread house, they take home exactly what they decorated, complete with a certificate of achievement to show off at home.
Why these workshops are different
In my studio in Mulund West, I believe baking shouldn't just be about following a recipe—it's about the 'masti' (fun) of creating something from scratch. These are fully hands-on sessions. I don't believe in just demonstrating; I believe in doing.
What the kids experience
- Small Batches: I keep groups small (max 10 kids) so I can guide each child personally. If your little one is shy, I make sure they feel comfortable and included.
- 100% Eggless: Everything we bake is eggless. We cover the basics of batter mixing, how to get that perfect frosting consistency, and the art of decoration with sprinkles and edible details.
- The Take-Home Factor: Every child leaves with their own creation and a certificate. Seeing their faces light up when they hold a cake they decorated themselves is the best part of my job.
Practical details for parents
- Location: Based in Mulund West, but I conduct workshops across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area.
- Duration: Typically 3 to 5 hours, depending on the theme.
- What’s provided: I provide all ingredients, tools (aprons, piping bags, turntables), and the recipe. You just bring the enthusiasm! Whether it’s a holiday special like Gingerbread House building in December or a bento cake class, my goal is to give them a skill they’re proud of.
