What We Actually Handle

We know the city can be draining, so we’ve designed our weekend trips to be a zero-stress experience. When you join a BPU trip, the package covers your round-trip transport (usually a non-AC tempo traveller with pushback seating), all forest entry permits, and stay arrangements—whether it's a cozy homestay or camping under the stars. We also ensure you’re fed with simple, filling meals that keep you going on the trail.

Your Role in the Adventure

While we handle the heavy lifting, trekking is still an active sport. We expect you to bring a sturdy pair of shoes, a reliable power bank, and a raincoat (especially if you're joining us for our monsoon Western Ghats treks). Check the specific itinerary for each trip to see if you need to carry a rucksack or if we’re providing tents and sleeping bags for high-altitude expeditions.

Why Our Trips Are Different

We aren’t a luxury tour operator. We are a community. Our weekend getaways from Bangalore are built for solo travellers and groups who want to ditch the screens and meet people. You can expect music on the bus, campfire stories, and perhaps a bit of teasing from our trek leads.

A Note on Safety

If the weather turns or the trails become unsafe, we don’t push it. We value your safety over everything, which is why we’ve cancelled entire schedules in the past when nature didn't play nice. When you trek with us, you’re in the hands of certified guides who know these hills, whether it’s the steep climb of Kudremukha or the misty trails of Netravati.
