About Welcome to the World: Newborn & Infant Sessions

I am a newborn safety certified photographer, which means I handle every pose with immense care. I never force positions; your baby's comfort during the session is my absolute priority. We move at your baby's pace—if they need to feed or be cuddled, we pause. This is not just a photoshoot; it is a gentle experience designed to keep your little one calm and secure while we capture their first portraits.

I specialise in newborn photography for babies between 5 days and one month old. This is the sweet spot when they are still sleepy, naturally curled, and perfectly suited for the cozy, swaddled poses you see in my gallery. Every prop, blanket, and wrap used in my Baramunda studio is washed and sanitized before your session.

Why Choose a Professional Newborn Session?

Newborn photography is vastly different from standard portraiture. It requires specific knowledge of infant physiology and safety, which is why I trained under experts like Ana Brandt. When you book a session with me, you are not just paying for a photographer; you are paying for someone who knows how to soothe a fussy baby, read their cues, and ensure they remain safe throughout.

What to Expect at the Studio

My studio is temperature-controlled to keep your baby warm and comfortable. I provide all the props, outfits, and floral setups you see in my work, so you do not need to worry about sourcing anything. Whether you want a classic, clean look or a themed setup, we will plan the details beforehand to ensure your photos feel authentic to your family.

I encourage parents and siblings to join the session. These initial family portraits often become the most treasured items in your home. If you are worried about your baby waking up or getting fussy, please know that this is entirely normal. I have all the time in the world for you, and we will take as many breaks as necessary to ensure your baby is happy and relaxed.
