Transitioning from a maternity shoot to a newborn session requires a special kind of patience and creative foresight. Having spent years in the VFX industry before picking up my camera, I bring a unique eye for detail to these sessions. It is not just about the lighting or the poses; it is about the emotional bridge between the last days of pregnancy and the very first days of meeting your child.

Why the Timeline Matters

I suggest planning your sessions as a series.

• Maternity Phase: We focus on the 'glow' and your unique journey. 28-32 weeks is the sweet spot when the bump is perfectly prominent, and you are still feeling energetic.
• Newborn Phase: Once your little one arrives, those first two weeks are crucial. This is when babies are still naturally sleepy and curl up into those familiar, womb-like positions.

My goal is to make this process seamless. We discuss themes and props beforehand, so when you arrive at the studio, you do not have to worry about a thing. We simply focus on the joy of your growing family.
