I focus on making you feel comfortable first, which is why I suggest bringing along an item that represents your specific journey—maybe those first baby shoes or your ultrasound scan. Your Story, Your Way
There is a specific kind of magic in the time before a baby arrives. When I moved from my background in VFX to starting Tahi Photography, I wanted to stop creating artificial scenes and start capturing real, raw emotion. This 'Two Becoming Three' cluster is built entirely around that transition.
Finding Your Style
Every couple connects differently, and your session should reflect that. We can go for a minimalist maternity shoot with clean backdrops if you want the focus to stay on your expressions and the bond you share. If you prefer something more editorial, we can explore modern, vogue-inspired looks with bold lighting and structured outfits from my studio collection. If you want something that feels like home, we can set up a lifestyle session where you can just be yourselves, laughing and relaxing.
The Details That Matter
I recommend planning your session for between 28 and 32 weeks, when your bump is well-defined but you are still comfortable enough to move and pose. During our time in the studio, I will guide you through poses that accentuate your silhouette while keeping the connection between you and your partner natural. You do not need to be a model or know how to pose; I will handle the fabric tossing, lighting, and camera angles so you can simply focus on the person holding your hand.
My studio in Byculla is equipped with gowns, props, and everything needed to make your session seamless. We will work together to create a visual record of this time that feels as authentic as your love story.
