Modern Residential Sanctuaries: Contemporary Architecture
We design contemporary homes as a dialogue between global principles and local heritage, ensuring spaces that are structurally precise, culturally rooted, and exceptionally livable.
An aerial perspective of our 'Coconut Cove' project, showing how the modern architectural form is carefully placed within a dense grove. The design includes private outdoor spaces like the pool, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living.
The welcoming entrance of the 'Coconut Cove' residence. The design combines the sloping roofs of traditional Kerala architecture with clean, modern lines, creating a home that feels both fresh and familiar.
This video tour highlights the interior of a grand residence, showcasing double-height spaces, luxurious materials, and a seamless flow between rooms. It demonstrates our approach to creating sophisticated and livable luxury homes.
The daytime facade of a large residential project in Kerala. The clean white exterior, minimalist landscaping, and strong geometric forms showcase our expertise in creating grand, contemporary bungalows.
The same residence viewed at night, where architectural lighting plays a key role. We use lighting to accentuate the building's form, create ambiance, and ensure the home is as stunning after dark as it is during the day.
This grand staircase is the heart of the home's interior. We designed it as a functional sculpture, proving that structural elements can also be powerful statements of luxury and design intent.
The main entrance hall of a modern Kerala residence, where a traditionally carved wooden door is framed by a grand, pillared colonnade and patterned marble flooring. This shows how we balance intricate detail with monumental scale.
An exterior detail shot showing the interplay of different textures and materials. We used rough-hewn stone, smooth plaster, and a decorative screen to create visual interest and a rich tactile quality.
About Modern Residential Sanctuaries
We do not believe in universal templates. Our design process begins with a matrix that maps topography and solar orientation against your daily habits. This means when we design your home, the placement of every window and wall is a calculated decision to maximize natural ventilation and light, ensuring the building works with the local climate, not against it.
Our residential practice is grounded in the belief that a home should be an extension of its environment. We integrate contemporary design principles with the traditional nuances of Kerala architecture, such as the central courtyard or muttam and sloping roof forms. Whether it is a luxury bungalow in Bangalore or a serene retreat in a coconut grove, we focus on technical precision through our Good for Construction (GFC) drawing sets. These sets encompass detailed foundation plans, custom joinery, and MEP layouts, leaving no ambiguity during the construction phase. We remain on-site throughout the execution, conducting regular audits to ensure the final build adheres strictly to the technical specifications and design intent. This hands-on involvement allows us to manage complex details like grand staircases or intricate woodwork without compromising on structural integrity or timeline.
