This entire red and yellow lehenga set was made from a single budget saree. We used the saree for the skirt, created an intricately embroidered raw silk blouse, and even used the border for a dyed dupatta so nothing goes to waste.

About this collection
I know kids grow up fast, so every outfit I stitch includes 2-3 inches of internal fabric margins. This means you can easily expand the size as they grow, so your child can wear their favorite festive outfit for more than just one event.
Turning Old Memories into New Outfits
Many of us have sarees tucked away that we rarely wear but can't bear to part with. My specialty is giving these fabrics a second life as beautiful, traditional wear for your children. Whether it is a silk saree or a simple budget-friendly piece, I look at the border, the pallu, and the material to figure out how to best turn it into a lehenga, langa davani, or a festive gown.
Construction That Lasts
When stitching kids' ethnic wear, comfort is just as important as the look. I use high-quality crepe or cotton linings to make sure the fabric is soft against a child's skin. For that 'princess' volume, I add Can-Can (hard net) to the skirt, but I ensure it is structured in a way that doesn't irritate. My team handles the intricate embroidery, including Maggam and Aari work, using machine and hand techniques to highlight the original saree's pattern without damaging the fabric.
Matching Sets and Custom Styling
If you have a special occasion like a family wedding or a festival, I can create matching outfits for siblings or mother-daughter sets from a single saree. We strategically cut the fabric to ensure both outfits look cohesive, scaling down the embroidery details for the little one while keeping the adult outfit sophisticated.

- Consultation: You bring the saree and your reference photos to my Rajajinagar studio.
- Design: We discuss the cut—whether it is a pleated lehenga, a peplum-style blouse, or a full-length gown.
- Crafting: My artisans handle the cutting, custom embroidery, and stitching.
- Handover: You receive a finished, high-quality outfit ready for celebrations.
