About Behind the Lens: The Aspire Experience
You might only see the final frame, but the magic usually happens in the gaps between shots. Whether we are setting up complex lighting in our Gamdevi studio or chasing natural light in Lonavala, my team and I work to keep the vibe relaxed and personal. We do not rely on stiff direction because the most honest portraits always come from when you simply forget we are even holding cameras.
My studio in South Mumbai is more than just a place with lights and backdrops. It is where we experiment with ideas, from sonogram projections to cinematic silhouettes. We built this space to be a creative sanctuary where you can feel comfortable enough to just be yourselves.
When we are on location, the 'calm chaos' is real. We might be hiking through a trail or navigating a crowded heritage street, but my job is to ensure the noise around us fades away so we can focus on your connection.
I believe photography is a team effort. My assistants and I have spent years learning to move in sync, anticipating moments before they unfold. This allows us to document your joy without interrupting it. Whether it is a maternity shoot or a family session, we aim to capture the raw, messy, beautiful truth of your life.
