About Natural Light & Outdoor Maternity
Outdoor maternity sessions are not about stiff poses or staged backdrops. They are about movement and the real connection between you and your partner. We typically schedule these shoots during the golden hour—in places like Lonavala or quiet Mumbai heritage districts—to catch that soft, flattering light that makes every frame feel intimate and cinematic.
When we step out of the studio, the environment becomes part of the story. I prefer to keep these sessions free-flowing rather than static. My goal is to capture the wind, the walk, and the way you look at each other, rather than trying to force a perfect look.
What to Expect
These outdoor sessions are scheduled for a half-day, typically 4 to 5 hours. This allows us to chase the golden hour—the window around sunrise or sunset where the light is most forgiving and beautiful.
Logistics and Planning
- Locations: We can shoot at heritage sites across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area or travel to nature spots like Lonavala or the Pune outskirts. If you have a location that holds personal significance, let me know.
- Wardrobe: You get 2 outfit changes. I provide guidance on color coordination beforehand so your choices complement the environment rather than clashing with it.
- Travel: For outstation locations like Lonavala, travel costs are borne by the client.
The Final Result
By the end of the session, you will receive 25 premium edited images with cinematic color grading. I also include approximately 150 color-corrected JPEGs delivered via cloud link, so you have the full story of the day. If you need something quickly for an announcement, I can fast-track 3 to 5 images within 48 hours. These photos are about the raw, messy, beautiful truth of your journey, not just a portrait.
