3-Hour Introductory Clay Workshop
Core Experience
- Duration: 3 hours of guided instruction.
- Technique: Introduction to Wheel Throwing (centering, pulling walls) and basic hand-building.
- Materials: Unlimited use of studio clay (Terracotta or Stoneware) for practice during the session.
- Gear: Studio aprons, carving tools, sponges, and wires provided for use.
Cost and Timeline Details
- Outcome: Creation of 1 to 2 raw clay articles like bowls or small pots.
- Firing Fees: Excluded. To make items permanent, a baking fee applies (approx. INR 300 to INR 500 per piece).
- Wait Time: Finished items take approximately 3 to 4 weeks for collection via the in-house kiln.
1-Month Foundation Pottery Course
Syllabus Overview
- Sessions: Approx. 8 sessions (2 hours each, twice a week).
- Phase 1: Clay preparation (Wedging/Kneading) and Centering on the wheel.
- Phase 2: Opening the dome and pulling walls to create Cylinders.
- Phase 3: Shaping bowls/vases and Trimming base finishes.
- Phase 4: Introduction to surface decoration and glazing basics.
Material Policy
- Clay: Included practice allowance (approx. 10kg).
- Tools: Excluded. Students must purchase their own tool kit, sponges, and towels.
- Firing: Quota of 2 to 3 finished articles included; excess charged by weight.
3-Month Advanced Pottery Diploma
Advanced Curriculum
- Sessions: Approx. 24 sessions over 3 months.
- Complex Forms: Fabrication of lidded jars, teapots, and large forms (10+ inches).
- Specialized Skills: Miniature pottery techniques and precision throwing.
- Technical Knowledge: Glaze chemistry (mixing/application) and kiln loading/unloading operations.
Portfolio and Materials
- Clay: Higher allocation of Stoneware/Terracotta for large projects.
- Firing: Includes firing for a larger portfolio (approx. 10 to 15 pieces).
- Exclusions: Personal tool kit and specialty glazes (e.g., gold luster) are extra.
- Policy: Strict make-up class policy subject to availability.
Private Couple's Pottery Experience

- Setting: Semi-private setup separated from the general batch.
- Guidance: Dedicated instructor shadowing to assist with complex steps.
- Activity: Collaborative wheel throwing (hands-on-hands technique).
