About Our Handmade Process
Before any color touches the paper, you get a sneak peek. We send you a digital photo of the pencil sketch for your approval, so you can check the face resemblance and pose while the work is still in progress. This step ensures you are completely happy with the likeness before we move to inking and coloring.
How We Create Your Art
Every piece of art at Artude starts as a blank sheet of 300 GSM card. We don't use templates or filters; everything is drawn by hand.
1. Concept & Photos It all starts with your photos and the story you want to tell. Whether it is a superhero theme for a birthday or a specific hobby you want included, we capture the details that matter most to you.
2. The Pencil Sketch We map out the proportions, focusing on the fun, exaggerated features that make a caricature unique. This is where the character and humor are defined. Once the pencil work is ready, we share the digital draft with you for approval.
3. Inking & Coloring Once you approve the sketch, we move to the clean ink outline. After that, we layer high-quality watercolors, markers, and colored pencils to bring the piece to life. This layering technique gives the work depth and a vibrant finish that digital prints just cannot match.
4. Framing & Delivery Your artwork is sealed and placed in a 0.75 to 1-inch synthetic wood frame with a clear acrylic front. We pack everything in our branded gift box with extra bubble wrap to make sure it arrives in perfect condition, whether you are in Bangalore or anywhere else in India.
Our process is transparent and collaborative. We believe that art is a two-way street—you bring the memory, and we bring the craft.
