About Custom Couple Sketches
I don't use filters or AI, and I spend 11 to 16 hours blending graphite and charcoal pencils to recreate your photos. Because it is all manual work on high-quality 200 GSM paper, I share digital proofs with you before I ever roll the finished sketch into a protective mailing tube for shipping.
Most people ask how I turn a colored photo into a detailed black and white sketch. It is not just tracing. It is about understanding depth, lighting, and textures. When you send me a couple's photo, whether it is from your wedding, an anniversary, or a casual day out, I study the original before picking up my Faber-Castell 9000 series pencils.
For couple portraits, I usually recommend A3 size (12x17 inches) because it allows enough space to capture those fine details like jewelry, saree folds, or wedding attire. Smaller portraits do not give me the room to shade properly, and I refuse to compromise on quality just to finish faster.
I work on 200 GSM acid-free Brustro paper, which stands the test of time better than standard sketchbooks. Every piece is treated with a matte fixative spray so the graphite does not smudge during transit. You will receive a high-resolution photo for approval before I ship it anywhere in India in a crush-proof tube. Please note that frames are not included, as I focus on the artwork itself so you can choose a frame that matches your home decor later.
