About From Blank Page to Final Art

I don't just sketch from a photo. I build each piece by layering graphite and charcoal, often spending between 3 to 48 hours on a single portrait to capture details like skin texture and hair. I send a digital proof for your approval before I seal it with a matte fixative, so you know exactly what is coming to your door.

Every portrait starts with a conversation about what you need. Whether it is a single face or a couple in traditional wedding attire, my process remains the same. I use Faber-Castell 9000 pencils and charcoal on 200 GSM Brustro acid-free paper to ensure the artwork lasts.

The Process

Once you share your reference photo, I start with the outlines, then move to the shading. For A3 size couple portraits, this often takes 14 to 16 hours of dedicated work to get the jewelry, patterns, and expressions right. For single portraits, I focus on the eyes and skin texture to create that realistic pop.

Quality and Care

I want your sketch to arrive safely, which is why I use high-grade protective measures. Each piece is sprayed with a matte fixative to prevent smudging and yellowing over time. I pack everything in a rigid, crush-proof PVC tube, meaning your art reaches you without a single crease.

I share work-in-progress shots so you can see the drawing take shape before I finalize it. This is not just a sketch, it is hours of my time dedicated to making sure your memory looks exactly the way you want it.
