Hand-Sculpted 3D Murals and Textured Wall Art
Art is a conversation between the architecture and the people living within it. Discover textured murals that bring warmth, depth, and character to your space.
This large scale mural brings a Maharashtrian Wada courtyard to life. Every detail, from the figures in traditional attire to the architectural elements, is sculpted by hand to create a piece of art that tells a story of heritage and community.
A blank wall holds infinite possibilities. This video shows the transformation of a simple bedroom wall into a flowing cherry blossom mural, starting with a hand drawn sketch and using organic sutli rope to guide the sculptural form.
Designed for a sacred space, this 3D lotus mural is set within an arched niche to create a feeling of peace and serenity. The vibrant colors and sculpted petals are designed to interact with light, bringing a sense of calm to the room.
"Do what you think is best." When a client says these words, it is the highest form of trust. This trust is the foundation of my art, allowing me the freedom to create something truly personal and meaningful for your space.
Scale and speed without compromise. This 14 foot tall heritage mural for Birla Evam was completed in just 10 days through meticulous planning and a dedicated team, showing our capacity to deliver large scale corporate projects on a deadline.
Gold leaf is a material I love for its warmth and quiet luxury. This video shows the journey of creating a temple door for Lodha Marquise, where traditional mandala patterns and gold detailing come together to create a sacred and glowing entrance.
A close up view of the hand sculpted and painted lotus petals. Each petal is individually shaped and textured using ceramic paste to capture the delicate form of the flower, showing the level of detail that goes into every mural.
The most rewarding part of my work is seeing the joy it brings. Hearing from young clients like Aria and Shanaya about how a flamingo mural has transformed their room reminds me why I create art that connects with people of all ages.
I am often asked why I prefer sculptural murals over paint. Unlike paint which can fade and peel, my 3D murals are made with durable materials like ceramic paste that become part of the wall itself, aging gracefully over time.
With over 30 years of experience, I founded Artistic Impressions to merge art with architecture. My team and I collaborate closely with clients and designers to create art that harmonizes with its surroundings, enhancing the space without overpowering it.
About Featured
I do not use flat paint. I use ceramic paste and marble powder to build 3D textures that physically project from your wall. Before we begin, I prepare a 1x1 ft sample block so you can feel the texture and observe how the light plays across the surface in your actual space, ensuring it feels right before we touch your main wall.
My work is rooted in the belief that a wall is not a canvas to be covered, but a partner in the room's architecture. When I sculpt a mural, I build it layer by layer, starting with a sketch and often using coconut coir rope as an armature to give the form strength and movement. This is not just decoration. It is about creating surfaces that catch light, hold shadow, and age with the space.
Why Texture Matters
Conventional paint is flat and tends to fade, but my sculptural reliefs are built to last. By using natural binders like marble powder and ceramic paste, I create textures that withstand humidity and sunlight. Whether it is a soft nature-inspired floral design for a bedroom or a high-relief heritage mural for a corporate foyer, the material gives the art weight and presence.
The Process of Collaboration
The best projects happen when we work as a team. We start with a consultation to understand your light, the room's purpose, and the mood you want to capture. I do not follow a rigid catalog. I create sample boards so you can see how the surface behaves under your actual home lighting. From a 14-foot heritage installation to a small lotus backdrop for a prayer corner, the goal is always to create something that feels like it belongs to your home.
Artistic Impressions
I'm Hansa Sewani. For 35 years, I've been sculpting walls instead of just painting them. I believe art should be a tactile experience, designed to grow with your space and last for decades.
