Behind the Scenes at Grand Events
Preparation is half the performance. Get a glimpse of the technical setup and venue coordination that goes into bringing my live art shows to life.

About Behind the Scenes at Grand Events
People usually see the final performance, but a lot of the magic happens in the hours before the guests arrive. I spend time checking the stage dimensions, testing the lighting against my canvas to ensure the visibility is perfect, and coordinating with the venue’s AV team to sync the music. Getting the sound system right is non-negotiable because the background track is just as important as the sand or paint I use.
When you book a live act like a sand art show or a glitter reveal, you are not just booking an artist. You are booking a piece of production that needs to fit seamlessly into your venue's existing setup. Whether it is a luxury property like the Conrad in Pune or an intimate hall in Amravati, my process remains the same.
The Setup Checklist
Before every performance, I conduct a walkthrough of the event space. For Light Art shows, this is critical—I need to verify that we can achieve near-total darkness, as even minor ambient light can ruin the glowing effect of the tools. For Glitter Painting and Speed Painting, the priority shifts to stage wash lighting and easel placement, ensuring the audience has a clear view of the canvas without glare.
Technical Sync
My performances rely heavily on music and voiceovers. I work closely with your event's DJ or AV technician to ensure the audio feed is crisp and correctly timed to the visual reveal. If the performance involves a projector or LED wall for a Light Art show, I coordinate the HDMI feed directly with your tech team.
Practical Reality
I bring my own high-grade materials, drop-cloths for floor protection, and the easel setup, but I do require a standard stage wash and a functional sound system at the venue. If you have specific ideas about where the performance should happen, let me know early. I am happy to adjust to your venue's constraints, provided we plan for the logistics before the event day.
