Why I Do This
Art for me is about making yaadein (memories) that stick. When I’m on stage, drawing with sand, and the audience gets hooked on the story, it’s a rush I can’t really describe. I’ve done everything from a company’s 350-year safarnama (journey) to a 95th birthday tribute. Each time, it’s a new thrill.
What Happens On Stage
Picture this - dark stage, lightbox, big screen. I use my hands and sand to create visual storytelling with sand, live. Every move is projected for everyone to see. Most shows run 15-20 minutes, packing a whole story into a short, emotional live art experience.
Stories I Tell
Every event is different, so every performance is custom. I do:
- Weddings, sangeet, anniversaries, big birthdays, retirements - telling your love kahani (story) or family milestones.
- Corporate gigs like company anniversaries, dealer meets, product launches - sharing your brand’s journey.
The Finale
I always end with a sand portrait finale - a detailed face or logo that’s the big reveal. This khaas (special) moment usually gets the strongest reactions.
How We Make It Happen
You share your story, I script and record a voice-over, then practice for days. Shows are usually in Hindi or English, but I’ve done Tamil too. It’s a lot of work, but worth it.
My Roots
Art runs in my family. My dad’s an artist, so this feels natural. I just want to make something you’ll remember.

Namaskar, I’m Jayesh Borse, sand artist from Maharashtra. Art is in my blood - my baba, Sunil Borse, taught me the magic of painting. I love making memories for people, whether it’s a big corporate crowd or a cozy family function. When folks stand up and clap, bas, dil khush ho jata hai (my heart feels full). Off stage, I’m just like you, celebrating life’s small joys with family. That’s what matters.
