My Art, My Sukoon: Inside My Creative Studio
This is where the magic happens. A look into my Malviya Nagar studio, the quiet corners where I paint, and the messy, colorful reality of teaching art.
Just me, living my art life. This is my happy place, my studio, where I can get lost in the process of creating, whether it's for myself or for my classes.
My little nook of peace, where every thought turns into color. This is my studio at night, a quiet sanctuary for creativity and reflection.
Inside my world of colors, dreams, and endless strokes. My paints and brushes are more than just tools; they are my passion, my peace, my sukoon.
Confessions of a glue-happy art teacher. Here's a little hack I use: refilling the small, kid-friendly glue bottles from a large one. It saves time, reduces mess, and the caps never go missing.
Trash for some, treasure for me. I love finding creative ways to recycle materials, like cutting up leftover craft foam into tiny mosaic tiles for my students' projects.
My teaching philosophy in a drawing. I believe a happy teacher makes happy students, and my goal is to nurture every child with love and give them the space to bloom.
Lost in the world of art and music. A perfect evening for me is painting with a cup of chai while listening to the soulful ghazals of Jagjit Singh.
About this collection
My studio isn't just a workspace. It's where I find my sukoon. Whether I am refilling tiny glue bottles for my students to save them from missing caps or mixing paints for a new canvas, every detail here is about making art accessible. I believe art should be fun, messy, and real, not just something pretty to look at.
For me, the studio is a living, breathing space. After 27 years of teaching, I have learned that the best art comes when you are comfortable and happy. My Malviya Nagar studio is designed to be that kind of space for both my tiny teachers and the adults who join me for workshops.
Why My Studio Matters
Art is more than just techniques. It is about patience, healing, and finding joy in the small things. In this space, we don't just paint. We experiment. We turn leftover craft foam into mosaics, we use bubble wrap for textures, and we create art from everyday materials.
What You Will Find Here
- A Community of Learners: Whether you are 5 or 50, my studio offers a non-judgmental space to learn. We cover everything from traditional Indian folk art like Madhubani and Warli to modern doodles and mandalas.
- Real Teaching, Real Guidance: I don't follow rigid, corporate structures. I adapt to what you need. If a technique is tricky, we use a bit of creative jugaad to get it right.
- A Creative Sanctuary: When I am not teaching, this is my personal space to reflect. It is where I listen to music, brew my chai, and paint.
Whether you are looking for a weekend workshop to unwind, a dedicated art class for your child, or a corporate team-building session, my door is open. Come with curiosity, and let's make something beautiful together.
