Festive Art & Seasonal Craft Workshops in Delhi
Art makes every festival more meaningful. Whether we are crafting handmade gifts for Mother’s Day, decorating for Diwali, or exploring new cultural traditions, I help kids and adults channel the festive spirit through hands-on, creative projects.
Invoking the blessings of Maa Durga through art. This video shows the creation of a 'Shakti' drawing, a special piece made during the auspicious festival of Navratri.
Celebrating the divine love of Krishna on Janmashtami. This artwork captures the playful spirit of 'Makhan Chor' Krishna, created with devotion and bright colors.
A tribute to Lord Shiva. This painting of the Trishul against a sunset backdrop is a piece I created to feel connected to his fearless energy. Om Namah Shivay.
A handmade bouquet for a special mom. My 4th and 5th graders made these beautiful wire ribbon flowers and wrote heartfelt notes for Mother's Day.
Each Mother's Day flower bouquet is unique, just like every mom. This one features a lovely green and blue color scheme and a sweet, handwritten message.
A vibrant pink and yellow bouquet with a touching note. These handmade gifts are a wonderful way for children to express their love and appreciation.
Another beautiful wire ribbon flower creation for Mother's Day. The shiny ribbons and delicate details make these bouquets truly special.
About this collection
When we craft for festivals, we do not just follow a template. For instance, in our recent Mother’s Day sessions, the kids learned to fold delicate wire ribbons to create custom bouquets. It is a simple technique that teaches patience, and the result is a one-of-a-kind gift that is truly priceless to their moms.
Celebrating Through Creativity
Art is my way of marking the passage of the seasons. Whether it is making traditional diyas for Diwali, creating spooky decorations for Halloween, or celebrating Earth Day with recycled materials, my goal is to help you or your child connect with the spirit of the occasion.
Why Join My Seasonal Sessions?
- Hands-on Learning: We ditch the screens and get our hands messy. From blow painting to intricate paper folding, every project is tactile and engaging.
- Inclusive for All Levels: You do not need to be an expert. I often use a bit of creative jugaad to simplify complex designs, ensuring everyone leaves with something they are proud of.
- Cultural & Modern Themes: We explore a mix of traditional Indian folk motifs, like Navratri-inspired Shakti drawings, and international celebrations, such as the Chinese New Year or Valentine's Day crafts.
How We Work
I run these workshops both online via live video calls and in-person at my Malviya Nagar studio in Delhi. My classes are kept small—usually capping at 8 students in-studio or 10 online—to ensure every participant gets individual attention.
If you are planning a larger get-together, I can also bring the art party to your venue across Delhi NCR. We handle all the prep, supplies, and setup; you just show up to enjoy the flow. If you have a specific festival coming up or a theme in mind, reach out and let’s plan something special.
Soojata Arora
I am Soojata, and for me, every festival is an excuse to bring out the colors. My studio is a space where we embrace the season, whether that means getting our hands messy for Earth Day or channeling devotion through a Shivratri painting. I keep my sessions small and personal, so we can focus on the simple joy of creating something real together.
