Our Journey: From IT Career to Farm-Fresh Skincare
When I left my 14-year IT career to become a mom, I realized I needed safer products for my baby. That realization grew into Arthlings, where we grow our own botanicals and craft skincare the traditional way.
I was honored to be featured on All India Radio's 'Nari Jagat' program to discuss the importance of organic products in our daily lives and to share the story behind Arthlings.
It was a privilege to discuss the principles of Ayurveda with Dr. Surendra Chaudhari, the National Secretary of the Vishva Ayurveda Parishad. He emphasized the importance of quality and organic sourcing, which are the pillars of our brand.
We are always looking for ways to be kinder to the planet. Here is a look at our visit to the World Environment Expo, where we explored sustainable packaging options like corn-based plastics to reduce our environmental footprint.
This image perfectly captures our philosophy. While many brands rely on lab-created, man-made ingredients, we put our trust in the power of the earth, sourcing directly from our organic farm.
We believe in using "earth-made chemicals" like herbs, oils, milk, and butters, instead of the artificial colors, fragrances, parabens, and sulphates found in many commercial products.
Empowering rural women is at the heart of what we do. By providing local employment, we help create a ripple effect of positive change that supports families and strengthens the entire community.
Welcome to Arthlings. This video introduces our world, where we combine nature, wellness, and beauty to bring you safe, effective, and environmentally friendly bath and beauty products.
About Our Story: From an IT Career to Farm-Fresh Skincare
We make everything in small, 6 to 10kg batches at our own farm in Maharajganj. This is not mass production. It is a slow process where we hand-distill rose water and cold-process soaps to keep nutrients alive. When you open a jar, you are not getting something that sat on a warehouse shelf for months. You are getting ingredients harvested and processed with the same care I use for my own family.
I spent 14 years in the IT world before motherhood shifted my priorities entirely. I started searching for products that did not hide behind scientific jargon or synthetic ingredients. When I could not find skincare I trusted, I decided to go back to the roots.
At our farm in Maharajganj, UP, we grow our own roses, aloe, and herbs. We do not just source ingredients, we nurture them. This gives us total control over purity. For instance, our rose water is made via traditional Deg Bhapka steam distillation. It takes time, but it preserves the hydrosol's natural potency without adding alcohol or artificial fragrance.
We use earth-made chemicals like herbs, oils, milk, and butters instead of sulfates or artificial colors. Whether it is our charcoal facial soap for oily skin or turmeric milk bars for dry skin, each product is built on Ayurvedic wisdom rather than lab shortcuts. We are transparent about our methods. Our soaps are cured for 4 to 6 weeks to ensure they last in humid Indian conditions. We do not use aggressive detergents, so our soaps have a milder lather than commercial bars, but they do the job without stripping your natural oils. If you are looking for simple, honest skincare, you are in the right place.
