People often ask me, 'Yeh toh bas drawing hai na?' – and the answer is always no. When I customize your sneakers or denim, I am deep-cleaning the surface, mixing professional leather paints, and layering heat-set finishers to ensure the art survives the rain and your daily commute. Every pair of shoes or jacket I paint takes hours of patient, deliberate work, but that is the trade-off for having something that truly lasts.
When you commission a custom piece, it starts with a conversation about what matters to you. Whether it is a floral pattern on your leather shoes or a celestial theme on your denim jacket, I provide a digital mock-up before I start.
My process relies on high-quality materials to ensure your art is wearable, not just decorative:
- Sneakers: I use professional-grade Angelus leather paints. I perform a multi-step deglazing process to ensure the factory finish is removed for proper paint adhesion, and I finish with a flexible sealant to prevent cracking or peeling.
- Casual Wear (Denim, Cotton, Linen): I use specialized fabric mediums to ensure the paint stays flexible with the cloth. Once finished, every piece is heat-set to lock the design in, meaning you can handle routine hand-washes without losing the colors.
I have worked on fabrics ranging from raw silk and velvet to rugged denim and everyday cotton. Because I handle everything from the initial sketch to the final packaging, I can only take on a limited number of pieces at a time.
