Behind the Scenes of My Artistic Process

Art is more than just a finished piece for me. It is how I find peace. Here is a glimpse into the messy canvas, the late nights, and the journey behind my work.

This is what it looks like when you trust your artistic vision. This reel shows me working in different settings, from painting a large mural to creating a live portrait, and proudly displaying a finished commission. It's all about following your heart.

Someone once told me, "I don't feel like I'm talented enough." I believe talent is overrated. Discipline, practice, and persistence beat raw talent every single time. Growth comes from consistency and embracing the journey.

A heartfelt moment in my art class. My teacher told me I would now learn from projects, experiences, and life, not from her. Those two years were pure bliss, and she will always be my biggest cheerleader.

I had been putting off painting for myself, but my friend encouraged me. This video shows the moment I decided to create art just for myself. The passion and energy just flow when you create for the sheer joy of it.

To anyone who says, "I don't know what to create," I say you won't know until you try. Get up, experiment with everything that seems exciting, and you will find your niche.

Something is magical about work-in-progress pictures. Here I am at night, sketching out a new idea on a blank canvas, ready to bring another story to life.

About My Artistic Journey

When I work on a project, it starts with a sketch that often looks nothing like the final piece. Whether it is a textured mural or a custom canvas, I spend hours mixing pastes, masking skirting boards, and sometimes starting over entirely when the flow feels wrong. It is messy, real work, but it is exactly how I ensure the final art feels like an authentic part of your space rather than just decor placed upon it.

My Process: From Blank Wall to Story

I treat every project as a collaboration. When you reach out for a mural or a custom painting, we start with your story. I do not just paint designs; I listen to what you want the space to feel like. For murals in Bangalore homes or offices, I provide digital mocks first, so you can see the scale before I ever touch your wall with a brush.

Why Texture Matters

Many of my pieces are tactile. I use heavy modeling paste to create depth that you can actually feel. Some of these works weigh over 60 kgs and take weeks to layer, dry, and finish. This is not factory-made art. It is a slow, patient process of building up layers—a stark contrast to the quick-fix culture we often see today. If you look closely at my work, you will see the brushstrokes, the imperfections, and the effort.

Let’s Create Together

I offer a few different ways for us to work together:

  • Custom Murals: I come to your location in Bangalore, handle the surface prep, and paint your vision directly onto the wall.
  • Commissioned Canvases: From realistic portraits to fusion styles like Lippan-Mandala, I create pieces on canvas that you can keep for a lifetime.
  • Workshops: I believe everyone has an artist inside them. I host workshops where no prior experience is needed—just a willingness to try.

I am the artist, the marketer, and the one who cleans up the studio at the end of the day. When you support Artglow Studio, you are supporting a one-woman mission to make art that heals.
