About Crafting & Upcycling: Unique Creations
The secret to great decoupage isn't just the choice of paper, it's learning how to apply Mod Podge without those frustrating air bubbles. In my sessions, we focus on the prep work and the sealing process so your final piece is durable, water-resistant, and actually easy to clean.
Understanding the Craft
Upcycling is more than just glue and paper. It is about understanding surface preparation and material compatibility. When we work on glass bottles or MDF wood, the goal is to create a professional finish that hides the 'DIY' look. We cover how to prime surfaces using Gesso, how to tear paper for a seamless blend, and how to apply varnish so the final product can withstand dusting and light handling.
Why Dot Mandala?
If you are looking for a meditative break, dot mandala is ideal. It requires no painting experience, just patience and a steady hand. You learn to space your dots, create symmetry, and work with color palettes to build complex patterns. It is a fantastic way to switch off your brain from daily stress.
