About The Art Beat Experience
You do not need to bring a single thing. We provide all the materials, from the clay for our handbuilding pottery sessions to the apron for our resin art classes. Most sessions last 2 to 3 hours, designed for you to walk in with a blank canvas and walk out with your own finished piece.
Why Art Beat?
We believe art is not about being born with a talent, it is about learning the techniques. Located in HSR Layout, our studio is a space to switch off from the routine and engage in hands-on creativity. Whether you are a solo participant, a couple looking for a unique date idea, or a group planning a team-building event, you will find a spot here.
Our Workshop Styles
- Handbuilding Pottery: We focus on pinch, coil, and slab techniques using terracotta clay. Note that we do not use electric wheels, which allows you to focus on the meditative process of sculpting with your hands.
- Resin Art: This is our most popular session for a reason. You will learn to manipulate epoxy resin to create high-gloss finishes for clocks or beach scenes. Please keep in mind that resin pieces require a drying period, so you will need to collect your work the following day.
- Canvas & Texture Painting: From palette knife textures that give your art a 3D feel to step-by-step acrylic painting on canvas, we keep these sessions structured so you can follow along easily even with zero experience.
- Decoupage: Learn the art of upcycling glass bottles or wooden trays. We cover the technique of wrinkle-free paper application and sealing with varnish, leaving you with a durable, decorative item for your home.
Everything is provided, including the apron, tools, and surfaces. Our goal is for you to walk out feeling lighter and surprised by what you made with your own hands.
Art Beat
I’m Namratha, and I started Art Beat because I believe art is a skill anyone can learn with the right guidance. You won't find any pressure for perfection here, just a space to experiment and create something you are proud of.
