Designing a living room requires balancing comfort with visual impact. Our approach centers on anchoring the space with a signature element, such as a modern jhula or a marble-clad media wall, to ground the design. This creates a cohesive narrative where traditional textures meet contemporary functionality.
Our Indo-Contemporary Philosophy
We believe a living room is the soul of the home. Our design process starts with understanding the space and the people who will inhabit it. We move away from cluttered layouts, focusing instead on clean lines and natural light. Our Indo-Contemporary style is about creating a dialogue between the old and the new.
Materials That Tell a Story
We prioritize materials that age gracefully and bring authenticity to a room.
- Marble: We use authentic, veined marble not just for floors, but as statement backdrops for TV units. We believe the natural pattern in every slab is a unique piece of art.
- Wood: From carved consoles to ceiling details, wood adds the warmth necessary to balance the coolness of stone. We often work with teak and natural veneers to keep the tactile experience rich.
Designing for Balance
Beyond aesthetics, we consider the flow and usability of the space. Every living room we design addresses specific needs:
- Vastu Compliance: We ensure seating arrangements and major elements like the Pooja room or main entrance align with Vastu principles.
- Zoning: We use floor transitions, false ceilings with profile lighting, and furniture placement to define different areas—like a reading nook or a conversation zone—without needing physical walls.
